E Challans know status

E Challan is a software application  having both Android  based Mobile App as well as Web interface. It is  designed and introduced as total solution for  traffic law enforcement activities of  officers of MVD as well as Police. This app  is integrated with the Vahan as Well as Sarathi application, which deal with the registration  of motor vehicle as well as licensing of drivers respectively. The  offence repository has been prepared and uploaded in the application  by the  MVD. The  app will capture the photographs of both the offender as well as the owner also. When enforcement officer detect any traffic offence, he will take the photograph of the  offence ( if possible ) and  select the particular offence from the  display. This will lead to the registration of a case  for that offence .When a case is registered, information about  the charges as well as the fine amount in your Mobile Phones. So don't forget to update your mobile number both  in the Registration Certificate and in the Driving License also. Other wise you will miss the precious moments of the case against you. This application is available on smart phone of the Enforcement Officers.

The  absence of record keeping ,transparency in actions as well as speedy disposal of cases are the important advantages of  the E challan System. Easily manageable abstract of report and relevant data as well as  web based monitoring systems are also available.

The Contact Less Checking programs of MVD Kerala is based of the E Challan. POS machines are also provided to the officers to collect fine. The fine amount can be paid later from office or home. However after a period of  14 Days E Challan may be transferred to Virtual courts.
