As already discussed ,update of Mobile Number is very important for a Vehicle Owner.Important Notifications will be sent to the number periodically.If failed to update those notifications will be missed.So Update the mobile number using VAHAN portal.The procedure is very simple no need to approach any other third party service provider for the same. Dont forget to pick your Registration Certificate as well as new mobile number while you enter the relevant data in the text boxes .
STEP I
Go t o this link or cut and paste the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/ui/otherservices
STEP II
Select Edit Mobile Number Option
STEP III
When New window is opened,Enter Registration number of your vehicle,Chassis number and Engine Number ( Refer RC for entering these number to avoid errors)Add full text including Alphabets as such.
STEP IV
Enter the New Mobile Number in the Text Box
STEP V
Generate OTP in your new mobile number ( Newly Entered number)
STEP VI
Enter the OTP in the new window and Finish.Your Number is updated.
