Covid 19 Changed everything in the globe.The existing system has been changed.People fear to speak to even friends too.The Fear is visible at every part of human life.
So it changed certain other things too.Transfer of owner ship of vehicles also changed little.As per the Existing Protocol the application for transfer of ownership of vehicle can be submitted any of the office of either the seller or purchaser.
For example A and B are two individuals having permanent address in Ernakulam and Kozhikode , respectively.IF A sells a motor vehicles to B the application for transfer of ownership can be submitted either at Ernakulam or Kozhikode.
Procedure for Submitting Application Forms
Prepare the Applications using VAHAN portal,Application in any other format will not be entertained.
Remit the Fees,
Remit Tax if any,
Clear the Check Report if any,
Remit the PSM, ( Over Speed Challans , remit the fine online)
Upload necessary documents,
Get print outs of the applications,
Both Seller and Buyer affix signatures,
Put the applications along with original RC /IC/PUCC /PRINT OUTS/ SELF ADRESSED COVER WITH Rs 41 /- STAMP in a box placed in front of the Office.Attach Original Records only.
You can check the status of application using VAHAN portal
If the Vehicle is black listed please visit the concerned office .
Mark the name of the office where the buyer resides to transfer the data to that office after service.
Your finished Documents will be sent to you by post.
Each and every action you can observe from home through VAHAN portal .
