Public friendly Fast Track services in RTO Kerala

RT Offices in the state are overcrowded with public for various services.

The average number of applications received in RT Offices is around  350 to 500  or more in each day,when all services are taken together.Around 200-300 plus applications are received in Sub RT Offices.

As a result various  urgent services like Transfer of owner  ship of vehicles,change of address ,renewal of licenses etc are getting delayed.

To resolve the  hardships to certain extent , MVD has introduced FAST TRACK SERVICES in all the RT Offices.

The attractive feature of this facility is  services to those   who stand urgent if he appear in person in the office with relevant records.

No additional fees required to avail  these services.

Service with authorization will not be allowed.Any defective applications will not be entertained.

This facility is available on all working days.Applications are accepted on first come first go basis.

How to Apply

The Applications need to be submitted through VAHAN web site only.

The print out of the applications along with original records need to be produced before the concerned authorities.

Services offered in Fast Track Facility 

Registration
(For Non transport vehicles like  Motor Cars,jeep,Motor Cycles,Scooters  and RC in Card form)

   ➤ Entering Finance Details, 
   ➤ RC particulars 
   ➤ Surrender of RC for Cancellation.

Driving License

➤ Renewal of License issued in Form 7 ( Card Form)
➤ Change of adress in Licesne issued in Form 7
➤ Duplicate License in Form 7 
➤ Driving License Particulars



Conductor License

➤ Renewal of License  ( Card Form)
➤ Change of address in License ( Card form)
➤ Duplicate License ( Card form)

Permit

 ➤ Renewal  of  Permits of  Motor Cabs
➤ Renewal  of  Permits of Auto rikshaws

Medical Certificates

For renewal of Driving License and Conductor Licenses Medical certificate and Eye certificates are required.

The printed hard copy contain the format of these certificates.

The License Applications are accepted through SARATHI portal only.

The Eye Certificate is mandatory in Kerala State Only,Hence the particular form need to be downloaded from https://mvd.kerala.gov.in.

Affix photograph at respective space and obtain certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner as prescribed in the form.

 Never forget to affix applicants signature in all the medical certificates.The Form 1 part also to be filled and signed by the applicant.

Copies of Documents to be attached

For effecting Change  of address in Driving License and Conductor License  and for endorsing transfer of ownership or change of address in RC, self attested copy of the new address proof,mentioned in CMV Rules to be produced.

Admitted documents for address are Election ID .U I D ( Adhar),Passport etc.If self attested copy is attached also produce original for verification,if demanded.

Submission of Application  Delivery of documents
Submit the completed set of application along with supporting  copy of documents,if any in the  Fast Track Counters.After Various process the finished document shall be delivered to the person who submitted the application.

Remember,defective application like want of signature,in sufficient fees,incomplete application,without certificates,without original documents,without signature  etc will not be accepted for service.

Book form documents,which require  back log update, will not be accepted in fast track service    counters.

(Such application has to be submitted in the regular counter,with self addressed cover with postal stamp worth Rs41/.The regular counter will work up to 1 pm only)

Fast track Service is available in all the working days.

However depending upon the number of application received and time required for completion for each service,all the applications  may not be entertained.

Photo Id proof
If the application is for any service other than Driving License or Conductor License it is advised to keep a photo ID card to prove the identity of the applicant.since service through authorization is not allowed for fast track services.

Regular Counters
The working time of these counters are from 10 15 to 1 00 pm.All the application submitted in these counters require a self addressed cover ,with Stamp Rs 41 / ,for despactch of the finished documents.

COVID 19 Impact

Due to the outbreak of Covid 19 ,FAST TRACK Facilities are stopped.

At present Applications are dropped in a box and the documents will be sent to the applicant after service by Registered post.
